BRAZIL: Congressional investigators were being bugged

The latest twist in the continuing corruption scandal is that someone is spying on the congressmen who are investigating the matter. Four of them have made formal complaints, which have been relayed to the president of the lower chamber by the ethics committee, the body that has been judging the fitness of accused legislators to continue holding office. Only one of the four has identified the body he suspects of secretly monitoring him as Abin, the state intelligence service.
