HONDURAS: Congressional corruption targeted

The Honduran attorney general’s office ordered a raid on congress on 28 November to seize documents linked to longstanding cases of corruption embroiling both current and past legislators. “Immunity is not impunity and the days of hiding criminal activity behind a congressional seat are over…we will intervene in any branch of government which has broken the law,” the attorney general, Johel Zelaya, said in a post on social media.
