MEXICO: Challenges remain for growing medical tourism industry
According to industry specialists attending the first medical tourism forum held in Mexico City (CDMX) on 26 October, Mexico has the potential to increase the number of medical tourists it receives. However, Javier Potes, chairman of Mexico’s hospital consortium, warned that despite some isolated efforts there is no coherent strategy to achieve this growth.
