MEXICO: Change distant despite stock market reform

On 15 November Mexico’s lower chamber of deputies unanimously approved a bill that modified the stock exchange law and the investment funds law to make it easier for companies to go public. Having been approved by the senate on 29 April, the changes will come into force once President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has promulgated the bill, and it has been published in the official gazette (DOF).
