Macri hosts ‘mini-Davos’ investment forum
Argentina’s President Mauricio Macri welcomed over 1,000 executives from 67 countries to a three-day investment forum in Buenos Aires on 12-15 September. “We are welcoming the world”, Macri declared as he opened the inaugural ‘Argentina Business & Investment Forum’, dubbed a ‘mini-Davos’ by local media in reference to the annual gathering of senior world executives and policy makers at the World Economic Forum, held every year in the Swiss ski resort of Davos.
