MEXICO: The final elections of 2007

The last important elections of 2007 take place on 11 November. The most significant of the four elections are in Michoacán which has gubernatorial, state congress and municipal elections. The Michoacán elections are one of the rare three-way fights in which each of the major parties, the Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI); the Partido Acción Nacional (PAN) and the Partido de la Revolución Democrática (PRD) start with a decent chance.
