NICARAGUA: Sandinistas and Liberals agree on budget
The Asamblea Nacional de Nicaragua finally approved the budget in mid
February after an alliance between the ruling Frente Sandinista de Liberación
Nacional (FSLN) and the Partido Liberal Constitucionalista (PLC) held. The
budget had been before congress since 15 October 2007, when President Daniel
Ortega delivered it.
