MEXICO: Tensions build with US ambassador

On 5 October Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum announced she had asked the foreign ministry (SRE) to summon the US ambassador to Mexico, Ronald Johnson, and the governor of Querétaro state, Mauricio Kuri, amid tensions over the establishment of an international police training academy in Querétaro.
