BRAZIL: STF orders suspension of federal police chief amid judicial feud

On 8 September Brazilian supreme court (STF) justice André Mendonça ordered the suspension of the director of the federal police (PF), Andrei Rodrigues, and the PF’s head of intelligence, Leandro Almada, on the grounds that the PF had violated constitutional rights by conducting surveillance on the judge.
