ARGENTINA: Milei crowns two years in office with return to bond market
Coincidence or not, Javier Milei gave himself a present on the day he marked two years in office as president of Argentina – a return to the dollar-denominated bond market after an eight-year hiatus. The 10 December local issue raised nearly US$1bn and is a first step towards returning to global markets. The government hopes to showcase a new, more attractive Argentina opening its doors to foreign investment.
