EL SALVADOR: Foreign agents law challenged
On 24 July lobby group Movimiento por la Defensa de la Clase Trabajadora (MDCT) submitted a case to El Salvador’s supreme court stating that the new foreign agents law, which applies a 30% tax rate on funds received by NGOs, is unconstitutional and should be struck down.
