BRAZIL: Government hails rise in GDP growth

Brazil’s annual GDP growth has accelerated for the third consecutive year, expanding by 3.4% in 2024. The government led by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has celebrated the growth figures, although uncertainty remains over whether this level of economic growth is sustainable.
