VENEZUELA: Spat breaks out with Brazil and Colombia

Diplomatic tensions erupted this week as the Venezuelan government reacted angrily to the refusal of the left-wing governments of Brazil and Colombia to recognise the legitimacy of the victory of President Nicolás Maduro over his opposition rival Edmundo González in the elections on 28 July.
