ARGENTINA | Inflation boost. Annual inflation was 276.4% in May, according to the national statistics institute (Indec). Inflation hit 211.4% in 2023 but private analysts consulted by the central bank (BCRA) are now forecasting that it will be 146.4 % in 2024, with monthly rates of below 4.5% until November. Inflation increased by 4.2% in May on the previous month, the first single-digit increase since the 8.3% inflation recorded last October.
