DOMINICAN REPUBLIC: Ruling party kicks off campaigning ahead of elections
On 7 January the Dominican Republic’s President Luis Abinader officially launched the campaign for the ruling Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM) in Santo Domingo for the 18 February municipal elections, ahead of the 19 May presidential elections in which he is seeking re-election.
