During the meeting, the two leaders discussed opportunities for economic cooperation and growth, with a focus on investment and job creation. A statement from Canada’s government noted that Trudeau had also expressed his appreciation for Mexico’s support in preparation for Canada’s hosting of the 2024 North American Leaders’ Summit (Nals).
