BRAZIL | Inflation rises in August. On 12 September Brazil’s national statistics institute (Ibge) released its latest inflation figures showing a monthly inflation rate of 0.23% for August. Annualised inflation for the 12 months until August came to 4.61%, still within the target range of 3.25% +/-1.5% of the central bank (BCB).
