ARGENTINA: Government apologises for rise of Milei
On 17 August Argentina’s government led by President Alberto Fernández apologised to voters for letting them down after the populist anti-system presidential candidate, Javier Milei, won the largest percentage of the vote in the primary elections (Paso) held on 13 August.
