ARGENTINA: Massa bets on gas, IMF for election boost
It isn’t often that Argentine authorities get to announce positive economic news. So it was perhaps no surprise that the otherwise divided leadership of the ruling Unión por la Patria coalition gave a show of unity during the inauguration of a major gas pipeline on the 9 July Independence Day to kick off its campaign ahead of primaries on 13 August.
