Honduras’s 128-member unicameral legislature has received the final shortlist of five names for the crucial post of attorney general. The submission of the list marks the latest stage of a process closely followed domestically and abroad given the importance of the post to declared efforts by the Partido Libertad y Refundación (Libre) government led by President Xiomara Castro to combat corruption.
