COLOMBIA | 2024 budget. Colombia’s finance minister Ricardo Bonilla presented the 2024 national budget to congress on 29 July, announcing total expenditure of Col$502tn (US$123.5bn), or 29.6% of GDP. This represents an 18.9% increase on the size of the 2023 budget. Of this total, the largest share of spending will go on maintenance (Col$310.3tn), followed by investment (Col$97.7tn), and debt servicing (Col$94.5tn).
