BRAZIL: Drop in murders but rise in sexual violence in 2022, report finds
On 20 July Brazil’s Forum Brasileiro de Segurança Pública (FBSP), a public security think-tank, released its report for Brazil’s 2022 crime statistics, which showed lower overall murder rates, but a rise in other crimes, such as sexual assault and child abuse.
