MEXICO | Electricity supply sparks concerns. Business associations in Mexico have raised concerns over blackouts that have been experienced across the country in recent weeks. The power outages are due to high energy demand, which has surged as a result of the increased use of air conditioning units amid a heatwave that has affected much of Mexico since the beginning of June.
