BRAZIL | Record grain harvest forecast. The Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento (Conab), the logistics arm of Brazil’s agriculture ministry, released its forecast for the 2022/2023 grain crop harvest on 13 June, predicting a yield of 315.8m tonnes (t). This would be a record harvest for grain production and mark an increase of 43.2m t from the 2021/2022 yield, or 15.8%.
