* Honduras’ central bank (BCH) has released new figures which show that monthly inflation in May was 0.07%, which it said was the lowest for the month of May of the last three years. Year-on-year inflation was 6.58%, down 0.86 percentage points on the previous month, and down 4.28 percentage points year-on-year. The BCH said that the monthly deceleration owed to a drop in average prices of some food, mainly of agricultural origin, and lower average prices of fuel for vehicular and domestic use.
