The Caribbean’s move away from the British monarchy

The coronation of the UK’s King Charles III has given added impetus to the move away from the British monarchy as head of state in former colonies in the Caribbean. However, the changes are likely to be mostly cosmetic in that there seems little appetite for a move to an executive presidency in any of the countries contemplating change, and even less for an exit from the Commonwealth.
