* Argentina’s national statistics institute (Indec) has released its figures on industrial manufacturing and construction in March 2023, which showed that the industrial manufacturing index was up 3.1% year-on-year, and the construction industry index increased by 1.2% in yearly terms. In monthly terms, industrial manufacturing was up 3.4% and construction up 3.5%. In the first three months of the year, the industrial manufacturing index increased by 2.6% compared to the same period of 2022, while the construction index was down 0.8% on the first three months of last year.
