In brief: Colombia’s state airline goes international with Venezuela route
* Colombia’s President Gustavo Petro has announced that the country’s state airline, SATENA, will launch two weekly flights from Colombia to Venezuela on 3 March. Petro said that with the opening of the Bogotá-Caracas route his government is “fulfilling the promise to transform SATENA into an international airline,” adding that SATENA will open routes to other destinations in Latin America in the near future.
