According to the latest figures released by the national statistics institute (Inegi), 4.26m international tourists visited Mexico in December 2022, a 15.7% increase on the same month of the previous year. The report shows that the total spending by international tourists was US$2.86bn in December 2022, up 19.2% year-on-year.
