Ecuador’s President Guillermo Lasso met his US counterpart Joe Biden at the White House on 19 December to discuss deepening the economic and security partnership between the two countries, including strengthening economic integration through the bilateral Trade and Investment Council Agreement and the Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity Initiative.
