The just published 2021 Corruption Perceptions Index from international anti-corruption NGO Transparency International is broadly positive about the Commonwealth Caribbean. Of the nine Commonwealth Caribbean countries included in the survey, seven score above the global average of 43, but the two that are below that average, Trinidad & Tobago (on 41) and Guyana (39) happen to be the region’s two main oil and gas producers.
