Karina Gómez, the president of Paraguay’s national minimum wage council (Conasam), a tripartite commission comprising representatives of the state, employers, and workers, has announced that she will submit a proposal to the executive to increase the monthly minimum wage by 4.4% to G$2.28m (US$338).
