Development: On 29 September the second-in-command of the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (Farc) guerrillas, ‘Iván Márquez’ (Luciano Marín Arango), travelled to the town of Bojayá in Colombia’s north-western Chocó department and publicly asked for “infinite forgiveness” for the indiscriminate mass killing of innocent civilians perpetrated by the Farc there in 2002.
