HONDURAS: Scope of Washington’s role emerges slowly

Another case of a suspected drug trafficker killed by a US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agent in Honduras has attracted attention to the scope of that agency’s role in that country’s antidrugs efforts, which the Honduran authorities say has already translated into a sharp increase in the volume of drug seizures.
