The Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI) came out fighting this week. The party presented the electoral authorities with a 1,600-page legal submission denying all of the accusations made by the second-placed presidential candidate of the left-wing coalition Movimiento Progresista, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, in an attempt to invalidate the election won by his PRI rival, Enrique Peña Nieto.
