HONDURAS: Zelaya starts forging electoral vehicle

Former president Manuel Zelaya is not wasting any time. Just two weeks after his return to Honduras from his exile in the Dominican Republic, he organised an "assembly of popular resistance" in Tegucigalpa for 26 June to mark the second anniversary of his ousting on 28 June 2009. The main focus of the assembly, Zelaya says, is to discuss the importance of a constituent assembly and to establish a broad coalition ahead of elections in November 2013.
