ARGENTINA-URUGUAY: Still no end in sight for mill controversy

Argentina's President, Néstor Kirchner, his wife and president-elect, Cristina Fernández, Uruguay's President, Tabaré Vázquez, and King Juan Carlos of Spain will discuss the pulp mill on the banks of the River Uruguay on the sidelines of the Iberoamerican Summit of heads of state which is currently taking place in Santiago. The issue is being considered by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), but the Argentine and Uruguayan governments are also discussing it under the mediation of the Spanish Crown. Judging by the latest declarations, no solution will be reached in Santiago.
