José Dirceu, President Lula da Silva's righthand man is facing another crisis. Yesterday the brother of a former mayor, murdered in 2002, said that his brother had been handing over money to Dirceu. The allegations from João Francisco Daniel, the brother of the murdered mayor, Celso, will breathe new life into the scandal. Daniel has been keeping his own counsel in the wilds of Bahia for the past couple of years.
