BOLIVIA: Concerns build over international drug gangs

This month, the government of President Evo Morales announced it was dispatching troops to reinforce 17 outposts on the border with Brazil and Paraguay. The move is in response to fears regarding the growing presence of international drug gangs in Bolivia - the latest indication of the 'balloon effect' caused by Colombia's coca-reduction efforts.
