COSTA RICA: Ruling party reeling from alleged drug links
On 6 October Costa Rica’s opposition parties called for the creation of a congressional committee to investigate links between the ruling Partido Pueblo Soberano (PPSO) and a dual-nationality businessman, Guobin Tam Zhang, who was arrested four days earlier on suspicion of drug trafficking and money laundering on behalf of transnational criminal groups.
