BOLIVIA: Argentine political operative jailed
On 21 August a Bolivian court sentenced Fernando Cerimedo, an Argentine political consultant who has served as an adviser to various conservative governments in the region, to 180 days’ preventive detention for the alleged attempted femicide of his former girlfriend Nadia Beller.
