*Brazil’s federal oil and gas regulator (ANP) has released the monthly production figures for June, showing a total of 5.84m barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) of oil and natural gas. Oil production rose to 4.48m barrels per day (bpd), up 4% compared to May and up 19.1% compared to June 2025. Natural gas production totalled 217.35m cubic metres per day (m³/d) in June, up 5.5% in monthly terms and up 19.7% year-on-year. The Búzios field, located in the Santos Basin near Brazil’s south-eastern coastline, produced the most oil in June this year, recording 1.02m bpd. Meanwhile, the Mero field, also in the Santos Basin, was the largest natural gas producer, with 48.73m m³/d. The processing facilities with the highest production levels were the Almirante Tamandaré floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) unit in the Búzios field, which produced 253,801 bpd of oil, and the Marechal Duque de Caxias FPSO in the Mero field for natural gas, which produced 13.36m m³/d.
