Dominican Republic receives acclaim for zero hunger achievement

President Luis Abinader celebrated the release this week of a report putting undernourishment in the Dominican Republic at lower than 2.5% for the first time. Abinader said that the findings in the report by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) were a reward for his government’s efforts to prioritise achieving ‘zero hunger’.
