URUGUAY: Orsi’s popularity slumps
On 25 June Uruguay’s deputy chief of staff, Jorge Díaz, sought to downplay the significance of a survey published by the national pollster Cifra a day earlier showing that President Yamandú Orsi’s approval rating had fallen to just 20% while his disapproval rating had risen to 65%.
