*Brazil’s national association of vehicle manufacturers (Anfavea) has released its latest production figures, showing that a total of 238,500 vehicles were produced in April. This marks a 9.5% decrease compared to the 263,600 units produced in March, but a 2.4% increase compared to 232,800 units in April 2025. Anfavea also released the latest monthly figures for domestic sales and exports. A total of 248,300 vehicles were sold in the domestic market in April, down 7.8% compared to 269,500 units sold the previous month but up 19.0% compared to 208,700 units in the same month last year. Meanwhile, Brazil’s monthly vehicle exports totalled 43,200 units, which is up 8.2% compared to the 39,900 vehicles exported in March but down 11.7% compared to 49,000 units in April last year.
