HONDURAS: Opposition-aligned top electoral officials impeached
On 16 April Honduras’ 128-member unicameral legislature voted to impeach Marlon Ochoa, a member of the national electoral council (CNE), Mario Morazán, a member of the electoral justice tribunal (TJE), and two TJE alternates, Lourdes Maribel Mejía and Gabriel Gutiérrez Peralta.
