MEXICO: Rights activist included in US cartel sanctions
On 14 April the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (Ofac) announced sanctions against Raymundo Ramos, a well-known Mexican human rights activist, as well as two other individuals, two casinos, and a betting company for allegedly laundering money on behalf of a major drug cartel.
