In brief: Paraguay records 2025 GDP growth

*Paraguay’s central bank (BCP) has announced that GDP grew by 6.2% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2025, bringing GDP growth for the year to 6.6%. This compares to growth of 4.7% in 2024. The results in the final quarter of 2025 were driven by growth in all productive sectors, with the greatest increases in agriculture (+20.8%) and electricity and water (+13.2%), followed by services (+5.7%), construction (+4.3%), livestock, forestry, fishing, and mining (+3.9%), and manufacturing (+3.7%).
