In brief: Brazil’s vehicle production up in monthly terms, down year-on-year

*Brazil’s national association of vehicle manufacturers (Anfavea) has released the monthly production figures for February, showing a total of 152,300 units produced. This is up 22.7% compared to the previous month but down 8.1% compared to February 2025. Anfavea also published new figures for sales and exports, with 140,600 vehicles sold in the domestic market in February and 23,900 units exported. This monthly figure for domestic sales marks a 12.3% monthly increase and a 4.3% year-on-year increase, while exports in February registered a 20.7% monthly rise but a 37.2% year-on-year decrease.
