In brief: Tourism GDP up in Mexico

*Mexico’s national statistics institute (Inegi) has announced that the country’s tourism GDP rose by 0.4% in the third quarter of 2025, as compared to the previous quarter, and by 0.8% in yearly terms. This compares to a quarterly drop of 0.4% in the second quarter and of 0.7% in the first quarter, according to the latest figures. Domestic tourism consumption was up by 0.3% in Q3 2025 in quarterly terms, while it rose 0.8% in annual terms.
